Seniors Wellness And Yoga Classes

Wellness Initiative at Dr. Raj Pandey Hindu Centre:

Sharing Circle of Wellness runs a Yoga program suitable for seniors three times a week between 10.00 AM to 11.00 AM.

Mondays and Wednesdays: Virtual

The program is run virtually on Zoom by licensed and experienced yoga teacher Ms. Vadivambal Rajagopalan.

Thursdays: In-Person 

The wellness program is run in person in the dinning hall of the Hindu Temple on 999 St. Anne’s Road for three hours starting with one hour yoga between normal time of 10.00-11.00 AM. After a 15 minutes refreshment break, this is followed by a 45 minutes talk by knowledgeable guest speakers covering a variety of topics related to common aging problems and lifestyle for healthy living. This is followed by a healthy catered lunch. This time is also used for socialization and continuing discussions on topics of senior’s health.


The Yoga sessions are free but a monthly fee of $20 per person payable to HSM is recommended to cover the facility maintenance cost. This Program is managed by volunteers and receives token support from the income of the Sharing Circle of Wellness Endowment Fund at the Winnipeg Foundation.
